This guide explains the usual reasons a withdrawal is slow or held at the Casino Rewards casinos, using their published terms, and the complaint route those terms set out. It's general information, not legal advice, and CoolShades can't intervene in or mediate a dispute. The quotes below come from the Yukon Gold terms; the other Casino Rewards casinos publish similar terms, but check the terms of the casino you use.
Per the Yukon Gold terms; other brands may differ.
The terms say the casino can ask for verification documents "following deposits and/or prior to executing a withdrawal", including proof of the payment method, valid ID and a proof of address "no older than 3 months", and that a "withdrawal may not be processed until satisfactory identity verification has been completed" (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026). See our KYC checklist.
"Withdrawn funds will be held in pending for 48 hours. Once 48 hours have passed, the withdrawal will be processed during the following business day." You can reverse the request until it's processed (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026). A request made before a weekend can take longer. See withdrawal times for stated times by method (stated times, not tests).
The casino "reserves the right to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings for irregular play". That includes single bets of 25% or more of the bonus before its wagering requirement is met (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026). Making a withdrawal also resets any bonus balance to zero. See the max-bet rule.
The terms say the casino may, "and in many cases will be obligated to", pay withdrawals back to financial accounts previously used to deposit, and that limits per transaction, day, week and month vary by country and withdrawal method. Depending on the method, a balance may be paid "daily over successive weekdays" (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026).
Players who win a sum substantially greater than their total purchases across the Casino Rewards casinos can withdraw at most $4,000 per week, and the casino may raise or lower that at its discretion (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026). A large win can therefore be paid out over several weeks.
The KGC page also says its ability to help may be affected if the complaint was already addressed, is being handled or ruled on by another jurisdiction or organisation, "has been discussed on any public forum", or if you share information with the media. The form asks for your name, email, date of birth, country of residence, the site's name, your member number or username, the date of the issue and the details. No route guarantees a particular result.
The terms say "It is the Player's responsibility to retain copies of transaction records and of past and present website policies and rules" (Yukon Gold terms, checked Oct 16, 2026). It's sensible to keep the date and amount of each request, the method used, copies of support messages and any reference numbers, and a dated copy of the terms that applied.
If waiting on a withdrawal leads you to keep playing or to chase losses, consider a cooling-off period. Help is free and confidential: see the helpline list for every province on our responsible gambling page.
