A max-bet rule limits the size of a single bet while a bonus is active. At the six Casino Rewards casinos I checked (checked Oct 15, 2026), single bets of 25% or more of the bonus before its play-through is met count as "irregular play", and the casino reserves the right to withhold withdrawals and/or confiscate winnings. The limit is tied to the bonus, not your bankroll, so it's easy to break at higher stakes. Playing without a bonus means the rule doesn't apply.
It applies per bet (each spin, hand or roulette round) for as long as the bonus wagering is unfinished. Some terms set a fixed dollar amount; others, like the ones quoted below, set it as a share of the bonus. Related features can count too: the Casino Rewards terms list using the double-up feature to raise bet values as irregular play. The terms I checked don't mention feature buys, so ask support before using one with a bonus active.
Each rule is separate. Meeting the wagering doesn't excuse a max-bet breach made earlier.
Round illustrative numbers using a 25%-of-bonus rule. Not a real offer.
The 25% rule covers any game; the terms don't exempt table or live games. Those games also count only 2% toward wagering ("All Live Casino games, table, parlour or other count 2%"), and even-money bets on Sic Bo, Craps and Roulette are on the irregular-play list. More in bonus game weighting explained. The max bet is also separate from a table's own limit; see high-limit casinos: the limits that matter.
The terms say the casino "reserves the right to withhold any withdrawals and/or confiscate all winnings for irregular play" (Casino Kingdom, Yukon Gold, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino, Casino Action; all checked Oct 15, 2026). Other listed irregular play:
The terms I checked don't describe an opt-out. They do say the cash part of your balance can be withdrawn at any time for the first and second deposit, but that forfeits remaining bonus funds, including bonuses not yet credited. If you want to play without a bonus, ask support in writing before you deposit and keep the reply. Without a bonus, your withdrawals are subject only to the normal rules, including the stated weekly cap. See how long withdrawals take.
Casino Kingdom, Yukon Gold, Golden Tiger, Grand Mondial, Luxury Casino and Casino Action use the same clause: "Placing single bets equal to or in excess of 25% or more of the value of the bonus credited to the account prior to the play-through requirement for that bonus having been met; a single bet in Roulette counts as the total of all chips placed on the table when the wheel is spun." (checked Oct 15, 2026). For other brands, check the brand's bonus terms. VIP status doesn't change this rule in any terms I've seen; see the VIP programme explained and all Casino Rewards casinos.
Decide your deposit and loss limits before any session, bonus or not, and use the casino's tools (cooling-off, self-exclusion, deposit limits). See responsible gambling tools and responsible gambling.
At the Casino Rewards casinos I checked, it counts as irregular play, and the casino reserves the right to withhold withdrawals and/or confiscate winnings (checked Oct 15, 2026).
The clause doesn't exempt them, and for roulette all chips on one spin count as a single bet. Those games also count only 2% toward wagering.
No opt-out is described in the terms. Withdrawing cash during the first two deposits forfeits remaining bonus funds. Ask support before you deposit.
No. A table limit is set by the game. The max bet is a bonus rule that applies whatever the table allows. See high-limit casinos.
