Many online casinos send a withdrawal back to the method you deposited with before paying anything elsewhere. This page explains how that works, using the published FAQ wording of three Casino Rewards casinos we checked on Oct 16, 2026: Casino Action, Quatro and Grand Hotel. Other casinos, including other Casino Rewards brands, may word their rules differently, so check your own casino's terms.
Casino Action, Quatro and Grand Hotel all state: "Funds that are withdrawn are first credited back against any recent deposits (where applicable)." Winnings above what you deposited go to the payout method you choose in the cashier, which they call your Preferred Method Of Payment (PMOP) (Casino Action FAQ, Quatro FAQ, Grand Hotel FAQ, checked Oct 16, 2026).
The three FAQs use the same wording (Casino Action FAQ, Quatro FAQ, Grand Hotel FAQ, checked Oct 16, 2026):
"Funds that are withdrawn are first credited back against any recent deposits (where applicable). *Note* Some of our financial processors do not allow credit card refunds. Winnings above the value of your deposits are sent back via your Preferred Method Of Payment - PMOP as specified by you in the banking pages within the Casino."
In practice, that means part of a withdrawal can go back to a recent deposit method, with the rest going to your PMOP. You choose a PMOP when you make a withdrawal in the casino's banking section.
Not every deposit method can take money back. The FAQs note that "some of our financial processors do not allow credit card refunds". They list the withdrawal methods available to Canada as Visa OCT (Visa cardholders only), CAD EFT / eCheck and Skrill (Casino Action FAQ, Quatro FAQ, Grand Hotel FAQ, checked Oct 16, 2026). Interac appears on these FAQs as a deposit method, but it isn't listed as a withdrawal method. The FAQs don't spell out exactly what happens to the "credited back" portion when the deposit method can't receive funds, so ask the casino's support before you deposit if that matters to you.
The three FAQs state that "players that have not previously received withdrawals via these methods will be subject to additional verification checks which may take up to 5-7 working days" (Casino Action FAQ, Quatro FAQ, Grand Hotel FAQ, checked Oct 16, 2026). Have your ID, proof of address and proof of payment-method ownership ready: see our KYC verification guide.
All figures are from the Casino Action, Quatro and Grand Hotel FAQs (Casino Action FAQ, Quatro FAQ, Grand Hotel FAQ, checked Oct 16, 2026). These are stated times, not tests. For other casinos, see our withdrawal times guide.
At Casino Action, Quatro and Grand Hotel, withdrawals are first credited back against recent deposits where applicable; winnings above your deposits go to your chosen PMOP. A method you haven't been paid to before may take up to 5–7 working days of extra checks.
It's the payout method you select in the casino's banking pages for winnings above the value of your deposits.
Under the stated rule, the part of a withdrawal that matches recent deposits is credited back to them first, where applicable. Some processors don't allow credit card refunds, so this depends on how you deposited.
Interac isn't listed as a withdrawal method in the Casino Action, Quatro or Grand Hotel FAQs; the methods listed for Canada are Visa OCT, CAD EFT/eCheck and Skrill. See our Interac guide and Instadebit alternatives.
